Hurricane evacuation and you

Sept 19, 2018

Hello All,

We are back today to our normal schedules in all retail locations and distribution centers.  We still have delays with out post offices, but all orders are now being packed and processed for online orders as our normal scheduling.  We are able to drop orders to the post office but they have cautioned some delays as major roads around our county are flooded and slowing them down.  For this, we caution some delays in the delivery of any packages we send even if they are processed same days.  The US postal service is working hard at getting mail delivered, and should resume to normal scheduling as soon as flooding stops.  We hear the worst of it should be over this Sunday.  Fingers crossed.

Hello All,

We are running all of our retail locations on limited hours as our employees return home from evacuation.  All stores will be open from 1pm to 6pm, and we plan to have our normal operations of 9am to 9pm back in place for business hours by the end of the week as our staff returns.

The US Postal service, UPS, and FedEx are still not operational as of today due to flooding on major roads inside and outside of the state, they assure us that they are doing what we can.  As flood waters subside and roads clear, we should see them open back up so our packages can make it in and out o the county.

We will continue to package orders and have them prepared to ship as soon as the local mail service opens up - but please continue to expect delays as this particular issue is out of our hands.

We'll keep you posted.

Hello all,

The Mandatory evacuation for our county is set to be lifted at 9AM tomorrow.  Some of us are now getting power restored and some of us are not.  We will be opening our retail locations on Hwy 9 in Longs, and Hwy 17 in Surfside beach on Sunday the 16th from 1PM to 6PM provided nothing changes, and the stores have power - If a last minute change occurs, we will update you via our Facebook page.

Mail services are still currently suspended, but we will be packaging up all orders that came in since the evacuation to go out as soon as our postal system is operational again.  Thanks for your patience.

Hello all,

Today all local post offices in our county were closed due to a mandatory evacuation in preparation for Hurricane Florence. All of our Retail locations in South Carolina are also closed as they are located in evacuation zones. Most of our employees have already been evacuated and we will be keeping you posted as soon as we have any information on when we are allowed to return to work as the storm gets closer, and our city recovers from whatever aftermath it may leave behind.

We appreciate your support, please be safe.
